Wheat, corn and oat futures fall on the CBOT; beef and pork prices mixed

CHICAGO — Grains futures traded mostly up Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery fell 14 cents to $7.98 a bushel; July corn fell 6.25 cents to $7.53 a bushel; July oats shed 6 cents to $3.74 a bushel; while July soybeans rose 2.50 cents to $13.87 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle edged down 0.55 cent to $1.1300 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 0.02 cent to $1.3487 a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.60 cent to 96.10 cents a pound; while May pork bellies were unchanged at $1.2650 a pound.
