Indonesia’s coffee output will fall to 8 million bags in the current crop year, down 15 percent from the previous season, because of excessive rainfall, according to a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Exports will drop at least 17 percent in the 12 months ending March 31, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said today in report on its website. The agency’s previous crop estimate was 9.6 million bags. A bag weighs about 132 pounds, or 60 kilograms.
