VN tops cashew exports for fifth year

Viet Nam Cashew Association (VINACAS) said on Sunday that Viet Nam is set to be the leading exporter of cashews for the fifth year running this year.

The country has 390,000ha under cashew cultivation with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes of cashew nuts that bring in revenues of US$1 billion every year.

Viet Nam holds the first position in cashew exports, second in cashew processing and third in productivity and output, the association said.
