Forexpros - Natural gas futures were lower in U.S. trade on Monday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Natural gas futures for October delivery traded at USD2.679 per million British thermal units at time of writing falling 2.03%.
It earlier traded at a session low USD2.663 per million British thermal units. Natural gas was likely to find support at USD2.663 and resistance at USD2.876.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.07% to trade at USD81.69.
Elsewhere on the Nymex, Crude oil for October delivery fell 0.85% to trade at USD95.33 a barrel while Heating oil for October delivery fell 0.08% to trade at USD3.1164 per gallon.
